The Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is the most sought-after undergraduate medical degree in India. With a duration of 5.5 years (4.5 years of academic education + 1 year of compulsory rotating internship), MBBS in India is regulated by the National Medical Commission (NMC), formerly known as the Medical Council of India (MCI).

Register for NEET-UG exam on the official NTA website between January-March.
Important: Keep scanned copies of photograph, signature, and documents ready before registration.
Appear for NEET-UG exam usually held in May (3 hours 20 minutes duration).
NEET results are announced in June with All India Rank and percentile.
Select preferred colleges in order of priority during counseling registration.
